GILFILLAN, Minn. —There will be a carnival of farm safety learning at the Farm Bureau's booth during the Aug. 3-5 Farmfest.
The Wabasso, Cedar Mountain and Sleepy Eye FFA chapters will use a series of games and activities to help children learn more about farm safety.
Farm Bureau and Farm Safety 4 Just Kids are sponsoring the event that features questions on ATV and grain safety plus 911 and gravity flow wagon simulators. Games include plinko and tug-of-war, to name a few. Prizes, sponsored by the Redwood Area Hospital and United FCS, will be awarded.
Employees from Monsanto and Redwood Area Hospital will also be on hand to assist participants with the educational games.
