Matt Henkes takes High Individual in judging contest

Madison -- Matt Henkes, 18 of Luana, Iowa, was High Individual Overall and High Individual in Reasons in the International Post-Secondary Dairy Cattle Judging Contest.
It was held Sept. 27-28 in conjunction with World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis.
Henkes competed with the Northeast Iowa Community College team, which placed seventh overall. His teammates were Mitch Bockenstedt, Katie Steinlage and Mark Simon.
The team placed fourth in the practical contest.
Henkes also exhibited a winter yearling heifer, Rainy Ridge Dundee Daine, in the International Junior Holstein Show. She took 11th in her class.
