Awaiting the Arrival of a Christmas Miracle
They wait for a sign, in the form of new snow,
As she paces back and forth on a path well worn
And the northerly breeze begins to blow.
As she peers out at the barn from her kitchen window,
He's helping Mamma Moo with the birth of her newborn.
They wait for a sign, in the form of new snow;
While the moon above reflects in the earth's blanket below.
From inside, she swears she hears an angel's horn
And the northerly breeze begins to blow.
A star, high in the sky, brightens and starts to glow
And it glimmers on the ground to adorn.
They wait for a sign, in the form of new snow;
While the light from the night sky will flow
Over their farm, as it becomes a new morn',
And the northerly breeze begins to blow.
Softly, white sprinkles fall and they know
Their four-legged Christmas miracle is born.
They wait for a sign, in the form of new snow,
And the northerly breeze begins to blow.
